it is a booter on a downhill track.
the carpet stops the dry dirt spraying everywhere and slowing you down.
i'm not going to snap my frame on the jump.
if frames have snapped, its cause the rider has come up short or screwed up some other way.

See, now I know you're just another cocky photographer who thinks he knows everything. Guess I'll also mention that even your wording makes you come off as a complete cockbag.
1. I looked at your photos, I know you can shoot action sports. 2. I'm educated. I know what I'm talking about. I did go to school and yes, I went for photography. 3. I started an opinion on how it appears very fake. There is still no dust from the front or rear wheel or anywhere in the photo for that matter. It's obviously a very dry course, there should be some dust. And again, no one would ruin a good rim to finish a race, and if they were going to, they wouldn't stop to sling their tire )which they stopped and spent time taking off) over their shoulder. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever. You would A. Leave the tire on or B. Change out the tube.
Now, maybe if you can explain all this to me, then maybe, just maybe, I'll believe it's a real photograph. Also, please stop acting like a douchebag. There are enough DBs on pinkbike.
